Summit Memories ("we", "us"), a Summit Software company, makes personalized engraved products. This policy explains what information we collect through summitmemories.com, how we use it, and your choices. We don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Order details you give us: name, email, phone (optional), business name (optional), shipping address, quantity and notes.
- Your designs: the text, layout and artwork you choose, plus any images or photos you upload to engrave.
- A browser identifier: a cookie with a random ID (no personal details) so your saved designs and uploads stay with your browser. Your in-progress design is also kept in your browser's local storage.
- Basic server logs: IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and troubleshooting.
We don't collect payment card details on this website.
How we use it
- To make, proof, ship and support your order, and to email you about it.
- To save designs you ask us to keep.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the shop: our hosting and database providers, our email delivery provider (to send order emails), and the shipping carrier (your name and address on the label). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
- Saved designs and uploaded photos are deleted after 90 days unless they're part of an order.
- Order records are kept as long as needed for the order, warranty, and tax and accounting requirements.
Your choices
You can delete saved designs from My designs on the design page, clear our cookie and local storage in your browser at any time, and email us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
